Every City needs to plan for growth in order to provide a healthy future for its citizens. Cities adopt comprehensive plans that spell out a specific vision for how the City will develop while protecting critical natural resources and open space. Engaging citizens in the process of developing a comprehensive plan ensures that everyone works together to come up with a shared vision for the future and shares the work of achieving it.
